Below you’ll find some additional information about what to expect when you visit. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At West Charlotte Church at Freedom, we gather each Sunday to worship Jesus, to be reminded of God’s love for us in the gospel, and to grow together as a church family. Our worship is shaped by Scripture, centered on Christ, and designed to help people participate, whether they have been in church for years or are visiting for the first time.

WORSHIP

Our worship includes both old and new songs that draw from the rich traditions of West Charlotte. We sing songs rooted in rich biblical truth and invite everyone to join in as we worship the Lord together.

PREACHING

We put reading and preaching God’s word at the center of our worship. Our pastors work hard to explain the meaning of the Bible in everyday words.

CHILDREN

Children of all ages are welcome in our worship service. We provide a nursery for children ages 6 months to 4 years and Children’s Church during the sermon for children ages 5 through 3rd grade. A nursing mothers’ room is also available.

PARTICIPATION

We believe worship is for God’s people, not just those leading the service. Our worship includes singing, reading and preaching the Bible, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, confessions of faith, and offerings. We explain each part of the service as we go, making it easy for everyone to participate, whether you’re a longtime believer or visiting for the first time.
